Our thoughts and prayers are with the family and friends of Jesse Bogue of Canby. When tragedy hits…there are no words that suffice.
There is only Jesus – who served the Father. All of us are subject to the will and plan of the Lord.
Jesus, we lift this to you. Please be with the family and friends. Please help them to find solace in your grace. May they remember with joy the gift that Jesse was. And may they be granted joy in the midst of tragedy. Amen.
Update:
From friends of Jesse Bogue’s family:
Please pray for Chris and Renee Bogue and their other children Luke and Katie.
I can only imagine how heart rending this is for the family, especially as Renee has been battling breast cancer for about 8 years now.
Update from Ryan Brown (Canby Foursquare Student Ministries Pastor):
This is a tough one . . .
My nephew, Jesse Bogue, also an extremely prominent leader in our youth, passed away last Thursday.
Many of you knew him as he was gopher at camps, and at almost everything I could bring student leaders to.
Many, many of your youth knew him as well.
Please be praying for our family, church and our community. There are literally hundreds of youth devastated.
Memorial services will be held at Canby High Fine Arts building on Tuesday April 3rd at 6:30 pm.

Thank you so much.
It is a rough time for us here, but my brother lived such a rich 18 years that there are no regrets. We just miss him, and badly.
Those of us who knew him were so fortunate. He really played with the things that didn’t matter, and really loved the things that did. He loved Christ. He loved people.
We said it in his life, and he ignored it, but now we can speak freely: he was the best guy I knew. He was the best guy a lot of people knew. He pointed to Christ in his life, and is still doing so. In a big way.
We so appreciate your thoughts, prayers, and love, and are so happy Jesse is home.
– Luke Bogue
For those of you praying, know that my mom is in good health. It looks as though her bouts with cancer have finally ended, and she now feels (physically) well.

Luke,
We continue to pray.
Thank you for allowing us to have a deeper glimpse into who your brother was on earth. We look forward to knowing him more later.
Christ’s blessing upon you and yours.

So I am new to this whole blog thing. But I knew Jesse very well. We were like brother and sister. hen I was litle, my parents had me stay at the Bogue’s house while they were at work. So overtime, Katie, Luke, and Jesse and I were inseperable. Them being much older than me, was no big deal. Until high school or middle school came around. Their personality changed. For a long time, I thought they didn’t like me anymore. But when they all went through high school, they really loved me with such grace. And Jesse would always say Hey Sara! In that special tone of his. He always had some silly joke to crack to me when I was down. I was coming home from the beach. All my friends were very calm. I got home, my parents came into the living room, and turned off the t.v. They said, Jesse drowned the other day. I was in shock for the longest time. I then went on the computer to see if it was true. I saw his picture in an artical, then started to weep and weep and weep. I called my friends for comfort. It didn’t help. But I hoped it was. It is coming to that bittersweet day again. And i don’t know what I’ll do. I love you Jess. I can’t wait to see you again in Heaven.
Your little sis,
Saradoodles.
